1. First

2. Setting Email

Prepare you email address before start. In this case, choose an email service that provides POP3 services. I recommend yahoo.co.id or gmail.

Here are the steps :

1. Open Menu Messaging - Email - Setting - Account Setting - New Account - Fill the name ‘Mail Yahoo’ - and then fills:
2. Email Addres: contoh@yahoo.co.id (your email address)
3. Connect Using: As your GPRS setting
4. Connection Type: pop3
5. Incoming server: pop.mail.yahoo.co.id
6. Username: your username
7. Password: your password
8. Download: Header only
9. Check Interval: Off
10. Outgoing Server: smtp.mail.yahoo.co.id
11. Username: your username
12. Password: your password
13. Allow Connection: Home
14. Your Name: Fill your Name
15. Signature: Fill signature
16. Copy Outgoing: Off
17. Encryrption: Incoming dan Outgoing choose no encryption
18. Incoming port: 110
19. Outgoing: 25

For Gmail

1. Open Menu messaging - email - setting - account setting - new account - Fill the name ‘Gmail’ - and then fills:
2. Email Addres:contoh@gmail.com (your email address)
3. Connect Using: As your connectivity setting
4. Connection Type: pop3
5. Incoming server: pop.gmail.com
6. Username: your@gmail.com
7. Password: your password
8. Download: Header only
9. Check Interval: Off
10. Outgoing Server: smtp.gmail.com
11. Username: your@gmail.com
12. Password: your password
13. Allow Connection: Home
14. Your Name: Fill name
15. Signature: Fill signature
16. Copy Outgoing: Off
17. Encryrption: Incoming dan Outgoing pilih ssl
18. Incoming port: 995
19. Outgoing: 465

If the setting is running, I think it makes our lives more dyanamis. Enable the option "Chek Interval". By enabling this option, we will receive alerts on our HP if any incoming email. Its Interesting, is't it? Similar to the BlackBerry service ..;). Choose a time interval that we want more and more expensive short of our gprs tariff later. ;-) Enjoy your mail...

Get internet access anywhere with your Blackberry

Mungkin sebagian dari kita sering berinternet ria dengan menggunakan dial-up modem. Banyak cara penggunaan dalam dial-up ini. Disini saya coba berbagi, bagaimana memanfaatkan Blackberry sebagai modem. Langkah nya cukup mudah dan simple. Caranya :

1. Nyalakan Blackberry mu, ya iyalah dinyalakan masa dalam keadaan mati.
2. Buka aplikasi browser, seperti Opera Mini, atau apa saja yang tersedia.
3. Masukan alamat http://wap.getjar.com





4. Pada kolom search, ketik aja "tetherberry". Nah ntar kalo nemu, langsung aja didownload aplikasinya dan install...
5. Setelah install selesai, jalan tetherberry. Tekan tombol Blackberry (yang berlambang BB itu loh...) Nanti akan keluar menu, kemudian pilih "Download PC Files"
6. Kemudian pilih OS yang anda gunakan (saya menggunakan Windows).
7. Download sampe selesai file tersebut dan nantinya akan kita install di windows kita.
8. Jalankan lagi tetherberry nya dan colokin deh USB nya ke laptop...
9. Lalu lananin tetherberry yang udah kita install di windows kita tadi.
10. Eng...ing...eng...Selamat berinternet ria...;)

One of the POP3 client application that is very reliable for us to check and send email. As usual, we install the application first get here throught your Blackberry. Set the POP3 server and enjoy the service..;)
